Installation of tdbengine in IIS
  1. Download tdbengine and unpack it. In this tutorial we use the path c:\Inetpub\cgi-tdb\bin.
  2. Open the management console of the internet information service. This tutorial bears on the versions 5.1 and 6.0:


  3. Create a new virtual directory under standartwebsite:











  7. When Browseis activated the content of the directory in the browser will be displayed in the browser when the specification of the directory is given.





  9. Seting tdbengine as script interpreter for files with .prg extension:








  12. Enter the path to tdbengine.exe here:


  13. Seting directory rights:
































    24. IIS 6.0: At default only the static content will be delivered that's why the extension .prg has to be activated:
  24. Web Service Extensions/Add a new Web service extension...





  26. Copy to c:\Inetpub\cgi-tdb\bin:

    27.   Download now   tdbengine.ini (108 Bytes / Release 27.05.2004)

  27. Unpack to c:\Inetpub\cgi-tdb\test:

    28.   Download now   helloworldfile.zip (487 Bytes / Release 06.03.2006)

  28. Runhttp://Serveraddress/cgi-tdb/helloworldfile.prg in a browser
